This is a fun and interactive beginner Spanish language class which is immersive in nature. You will learn: - how to introduce yourself - how to give and ask for information - how to build sentences (like order food;as for prices, directions and assistance) - how to refer to family and friends - how to tell time, and refer to holidays - how to describe people and places In addition, you will learn how to communicate with Spanish speakers you will meet while traveling or in everyday life. We will be using phrases and functional (everyday) vocabulary, with group practice and varied activities. The class ends with an off-campus activity.

This course is designed as a follow-up from obtaining the FAA Part 107 Certificate that will help participants conduct safe and legal UAS operations with a focus on building SOP’s, checklists, crew management practices, flight logging, maintenance, inspections, and obtaining FAA waivers and airspace authorizations. The purpose is to create career opportunity advancement and help participants reach their employment goals. The learning tools used in the program include a self-assessment of knowledge on the first day of class using the TABE assessment system and a post-assessment on the final day of class. The classroom environment encourages participants to interact in an active learning experience that is relaxed with no pressure to pass.
