Randy Kings brain comprehends more than many people ever hope to. An expert in mathematics with a natural ability to teach others effectively, Randy has used his intellect to benefit the population and propel the New Bern community forward for more than a decade.

Randy worked as a math instructor at 酴圖弝け from 2006 until 2011. He taught 11 different classes, most of them higher level math courses. He enjoyed being back in the classroom after a 27-year teaching hiatus.

The following year, he volunteered at the colleges Academic Skills Center and served as a math tutor for students in need of a little extra practice. He occasionally filled in as substitute teacher and provided tutelage until 2015. I actually did it until there were not many students coming in to be tutored, he said.
